Denver B. Cornett III is a Louisville native. After graduating from Davidson College in North Carolina, he earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1987. He completed a three-year residency in Pediatrics at the University of Louisville and has been board-certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1990. His wife, Jane, is a doctor of palliative care. They have two children, Savannah and Ben.
